Don’t forget to send in your Scouting for Food totals. I have heard from only Pack 94, Pack/Troop 201 and Pack 351 (plus the 2 units that dropped off at the Salvation Army on Saturday).
Thanks,

EVERY SCOUT DESERVES A TRAINED LEADER
The summer and fall are a great time to get trained. Maybe your unit is not meeting as often or is gone at camp or a high adventure event. So you have some time to invest in getting better at delivering the promise of Scouting. Training will help you be better and make the work easier to accomplish. Let's do it!
Here are some ideas for upgrading your training:
>> Youth Protection (update every two years)
>> First Aid, CPR, AED training (update every two years)
>> Leader Specific Training (Take it when you get a new Scouting job, and re-take it every few years. There are always new ideas.)
Depending on what your unit does in Scouting, you might look into:
>> Physical Wellness
>> Weather Smart
>> Safe Swim Defense
>> Safety Afloat
>> Powder Horn
