A cross-functional team from the National Council, in Texas, has completed an evaluation of the BSA’s Tour and Activity Plan, resulting in a recommendation to terminate the plan effective April 1, 2017. An FAQ has been created to help answer any questions that you may have.

The summer and fall are a great time to get trained. Maybe your unit is not meeting as often or is gone at camp or a high adventure event. So you have some time to invest in getting better at delivering the promise of Scouting. Training will help you be better and make the work easier to accomplish. Let's do it!
Here are some ideas for upgrading your training:
>> Youth Protection (update every two years)
>> First Aid, CPR, AED training (update every two years)
>> Leader Specific Training (Take it when you get a new Scouting job, and re-take it every few years. There are always new ideas.)
