Wilderness First Aid Registration Now Available

Wilderness First Aid (WFA) is the assessment of and treatment given to an ill or injured person in a remote environment where definitive care of a physician and/or rapid transport is not readily available. The training will focus on how to assess, treat, and when possible, prevent medical emergencies. This course emphasizes basic life support, making good patient evacuation decisions, and injury/illness stabilization beyond basic first aid. WFA is open to all Scouts BSA and Venturers aged 16 years and older. The courses are open to the first thirty (30) registrants. For more information and registration, click on the course date below.
