Martin Ohrenberg died on Wednesday November 25th from natural causes. First Responders believe he died quickly and without pain.
Martin is going to be transported to Columbia, Missouri to be buried with family. Currently, we have no information on a service and burial.
Martin visited his family, and we know Martin enjoyed this time. He was so happy to have built his house, get it organized, buy new furniture and finally get to use his tool benches. He loved being able to park his cars in a garage and having a backyard where he had planned to purchase a Weber grill to start grilling again. We were so happy for him to be at this point in his life where he could enjoy this accomplishment. He planned to retire soon from the U.S. Army on Redstone Arsenal where he had worked the last thirty-five years as a mechanical engineer.
Martin was heavily involved with the Boy Scouts of America where he spent numerous hours volunteering in Huntsville. In 2019, he was very proud for being awarded the Whitney M. Young Service Award for all his hard work and dedication to the organization. He was also involved in amateur radio service.
