SUMMARY:Talakto Awards Banquet
DESCRIPTION:Starting at Roundtable on Thursday\, 7 November\, tickets for the Talakto Awards Banquet will go on sale.  Dianna O’Dell (Banquet Chair) will have them with her.  The cost will be $20 each\, after January 1st tickets will be $25 each.  Choice will be either pork BBQ\, chicken\, vegetarian and if the person needs gluten free options. \n  \nThis year\, we are not doing just our normal unit leader\, unit awards\, and District Awards of Merit\, but also recognizing the recipients for Whitney M. Young\, Jr. Service Awards and Community Service Awards. As such\, there will be a lot more in attendance this year. \nIf you would like to held provide Woodbadge critter decorations for tables\, please let Dianna know. 256-656-1271 or Dianna_L_ODell@yahoo.com. \n  \nWe need unit committee chairs to get the awards approved and submitted for their respective unit leaders who have earned awards. You can bring them to RT and give to Tom Billig (District Training Chair) to approve before Jim Charlton gets them for processing. Veteran awards applications and unit-specific awards can come direct to Jim Charlton. Remember this is the last year for Journey to Excellence (JTE) awards so turn your JTE forms in asap! \n  \nTalakto Banquet Help Needed!
