There are some events at Camporee that require scouts to prepare / pack for:
- The Historical Character competition — become your favorite historical character. Points awarded for looking like and portraying your favorite historical person.
- Dutch Oven cooking competition — bring your own supplies
- Camporee Band – If your Troop has band members that want to participate, have them bring:
- Horn
- Lyre or music stand
- Headlamp
