The day to work on pinewood derby cars at the Huntsville Scout Shop has been moved to January 31st from 10 am – 3 pm.

The workshop will feature several hands-on stations:
Design Station
Design sheets will be provided so Scouts can plan out their Derby car.
Build Station
Leaders will assist with cutting out cars based on Scout designs. Additional components can be purchased in the Scout Shop. Sandpaper will be available for finishing touches.
Paint Station
Fast-drying paints will be provided so Scouts can decorate their cars according to their designs.
Tuning Station
Scouts will align their cars and test them on the available Derby track to ensure they run true.

Volunteers Needed!
We need volunteers to help at each station. If you have a bandsaw, drill press, or sanding tools, please sign up as a volunteer. Leaders are also needed to assist with all stations.
