Adult Leader Position-Specific training for Scouts BSA Leaders

The Talakto District will be holding Adult Leader Position-Specific training for Cub Scout, Scouts BSA, and Venturing leaders.  This training is the first of two elements of training for new adult leaders and current adult leaders assuming a new position in Scouting. This training is the foundation for providing a fun and effective Scouting program and obtaining the “Trained” strip for your position.  Details on the courses are available at Scouting.org

The training courses for Scout Adult leaders covers the Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster, Troop Committee and Committee Chair, and Merit badge Counselor.  The Courses will be held at First United Methodist Church in Huntsville, 120 Greene Street NE, starting at 0800 on 16 Oct 2021.
