VFW’s Flag Retirement Ceremony

The Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 2702 has requested the assistance of Talako District Scouts in a ceremony for retiring flags that are no longer fit to fly on 10 August, 2024. The event will happen at the VFW Post facility at 2900 N. Memorial Parkway, and will begin at 10:00 a.m.

As this is solemn ceremony, Class A Field Uniform is required for all participants. Cub Scouts are  encouraged to attend, but they must have a parent present. Please RSVP no later than July 15 so that the VFW can plan accordingly.
