Wilderness First Aid @ Camp Westmoreland

Wilderness First Aid (WFA) is the assessment of and treatment given to an ill or injured person in a remote environment where definitive care of a physician and/or rapid transport is not readily available.  We will focus on how to assess, treat, and when possible, prevent medical emergencies.  This course will emphasize basic life support, making good patient evacuation decisions, and injury/illness stabilization beyond basic first aid.

You will receive a WFA/CPR certification good for two years.
