Next Thursday, 6 November, Jim Charlton will have the district banquet tickets for sale. The banquet will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church off Airport Road, on Saturday, 21 February 2026. The start time will be pushed back one hour this year to 7:00pm since the UESLC Cultural Day will be held earlier that day at Alabama A&M (more to follow on Cultural Day in separate emails). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jim will be at First UMC shortly after 6:30pm next Thursday, so as to minimize disruption when RT starts. Ticket price this year will again be $25\/person.\u00a0 Jim will take cash or checks (made payable to GAC) only<\/strong>.\u00a0 Starting next week, you can only get your tickets from Carol Stanker at the Scout Office, where you can pay by debit\/charge car if desired.\u00a0 Just remember, tickets are numbered since we will serve in order of ticket numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Also, don’t forget to get your awards requests for deserving scout leaders. Jim will also take any applications you have completed (and signed by your respective committee chair, as applicable), along with veteran awards, etc. This also includes nominations for District Award of Merit, for those who meet the criteria.
