Hello Scouters\u2026..

The Talakto District will be holding Adult Leader Position-Specific training for Cub Scout, Scouts BSA, and Venturing leaders.\u00a0 This training is the first of two elements of training for new adult leaders and current adult leaders assuming a new position in Scouting. This training is the foundation for providing a fun and effective Scouting program and obtaining the \u201cTrained\u201d strip for your position.\u00a0 Details on the courses are available at Scouting.org

The training courses for Scout Adult leaders covers the Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster, Troop Committee and Committee Chair, and Merit badge Counselor.\u00a0 The Courses will be held at First United Methodist Church in Huntsville, 120 Greene Street NE, starting at 0800 on 16 Oct 2021. \u00a0

The training course for Cub Scout Adult Leaders covers the Cubmaster, Assistant Cubmaster, Den Leaders, and Pack Committee.\u00a0 The Course will be held at Toney United Methodist Church, 5465 Old Railroad Bed Rd. in Toney just North of Hwy 53.\u00a0 Course begins at 0800 on 16 Oct 2021.
