Talakto District Training<\/u><\/strong>
Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO)
and
Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS)
\u00a0
What:<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0 Talakto District is offering both the BALOO and IOLS courses.\u00a0 The courses are the second half of BSA Adult Leader training and are focused to provide basic outdoor skills to develop and implement an outdoor program.\u00a0 The courses will run simultaneously over Friday evening and all day Saturday and are held in conjunction with the District Spring Camporee.\u00a0

When:<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0 Friday and Saturday, April 22nd\u00a0<\/sup>and 23rd<\/sup>.\u00a0 Check in at Camp Jackson begins at 5pm on Friday with the opening session starting at 7pm.\u00a0 Courses will conclude at 6pm on Saturday.

Where:<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0 Camp Jackson \u2013 OA Lodge area (map included)

Uniform:<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0 Scout Field Uniform

Details:<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0 Participants will camp overnight on Friday.\u00a0 Classes are primarily outdoors and will comply with social distancing guidelines but please bring a mask just in case.\u00a0 Course fee is $10 per person to cover food.\u00a0 Outdoor break area is available.
